Jesus Talks To The Woman At The Well
Scripture: John 4 (NLT)
As Jesus travel this City call Samaria this a city that Jews didn’t visit because the reason goes way back into their history. But Jesus was on a Mission, there were mixed races, meaning intermarriage which the Jew called impure. But at the well Jesus met a Samaritan Woman at the well getting water, when the woman saw Jesus she was puzzled because she know that Jews didn’t talk to people of her kind, she was a woman of the Night, only doing the day she would get water from the well. But this day she met the A Man that could save her soul. In John 4:7: Jesus said to her; Please give me a drink. John 4:9 The woman was very surprised, for Jew refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans. She said; you are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman. why are you asking me for a drink. John 4:10 Jesus replied: If only you knew the gift of God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water. See Jesus was on a mission on he’s the only one that could have save this woman soul because Jews did not associate with the Samaritans. This Woman a member of a hated group, mixed race, just like today’s society, people look down on mixed race even our very on President Barrack Obama is of mixed race.
My understanding of Totally Forgiveness .
Jesus did not allow this Woman race or her profession to stop him for saving her from her sins. People of Faith that have given their life to Christ should not judge others. Most people can quote John 3:16, but John 3;17 God did not allow his SON to Judge the world be a savior of this sinful world. Jesus could have pass judgement on her but he didn’t . Even his disciples was shocked to find him talking to this Samaritan Woman, they was supposed to be saved. John 4: 28-29 (NLT) 28 The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29 “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” 30 So the people came streaming from the village to see him.
We often take Jesus for granted and don’t truly cherish what he has done for us, we say we love each other . We forget where God has brought us from and the things He have forgiven us!
The Samaritan did not keep her encounter of Jesus to her self, she shared her Experience with the entire village, once you come into the Knowledge of Jesus you will not be the same.
- Don’t allow Person race stop you from introducing them to Jesus, what if Jesus was like His Disciples this woman would not have been saved.
- All your sins can be forgiven by Jesus Christ.
- But we MUST Believe, confess all our sins and trust in Him with all Heart.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I first repent because I know that have judged people do the color of their skin and their race, I ask that you forgive me and create in me a clean heart that’s like Yours a Pure heart for your people. I decree that my children , grandchildren, nieces and nephews shall reap the benefits of my covenant relationship and fellowship I have establish with you. In Jesus’ Mighty Name I Pray, Amen!
