1 John 4:16 (NLT)

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

We are almost to the end of our 3rd Annual S.O.A.P. Love devotions and we hope that you have enjoyed each and every one of them. More importantly, we want you to know how much God loves you. Sometimes it can be hard to fathom the depths of His unconditional love. When we put our love in Him, we can also put our trust. It’s hard to trust someone you don’t love and it’s hard to love someone without trusting them. The core of everything He does for us is centered around His love for us.

When we find ourselves finding it hard to trust Him in certain situations in our lives (those times will come), we have to ask ourselves, “Do I really love Him?” Though it may seem like rhetorical question, we have to make sure our actions line up with what we profess out of our mouths. There are too many Christians struggling with trusting God, yet say that they love Him. It’s simple. If we love Him, then we MUST trust Him. If we trust Him, then we will see the evidence that He lives in us.

You will truly know how much God loves you once you learn to trust Him with EVERYTHING! We have to remember that we are trusting in the only living and true God, who cannot fail us or lie to us. When He says it, then it’s settled. When He does it, it’s finished. Are you struggling to trust God in any area of your today? If so, we would love to pray for you and to provide you with scripture to help you depend more on Him. You can email us at info@greaterwomen.com and we will respond. Feel free to comment below with a testimony that help encourage someone else. It is our prayer that as you learn to love Him, you also learn to trust Him. The two go hand in hand.

Father, thank you for loving me and allowing me to love you back. I recognize that my love for you often fails but help me to know the riches and depths of your love. Help me to trust you just as much as I love you.
